Recommended daily doses:
Phycocyanin:
Horses with moderate activity levels / Senior horses / Horses recovering from illness / Ponies: 10 to 30 ml per day.
Horses with high activity levels: 30 ml (can be increased to a maximum of 60 ml).
Curcu8-Q10:
30 to 60 ml, once a day.
Avoid administering on an empty stomach.
Method of administration:
Dilute in a syringe with water, or mix directly into multivitamin supplements (CMVs) or the pellet ration.
Important: Shake the Curcu8-Q10 bottle well before use (a natural sediment may form without affecting the product).
Storage:
Phycocyanin: Store away from light, at room temperature or in the fridge. Use within 6 months of opening.
Curcu8-Q10: Store away from light, at room temperature. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.
Precautions for use & Contraindications:
A dietary supplement is not a substitute for a suitable and balanced diet, nor for medical treatment.
Always ensure clean, fresh water is available.
Pregnant or lactating mares, or foals: Seek veterinary advice before administration (Curcu8-Q10 is not recommended for animals under 3 years of age).
Harpagophytum (contained in Curcu8-Q10): Substance prohibited in competition (withdrawal periods must be observed).
Contraindications for Curcu8-Q10: If your horse is allergic to any of the ingredients, or suffers from haemophilia/coagulation disorders, oedematous heart or kidney failure, gastro-duodenal ulcers, gallstones/kidney stones or bile duct obstruction, seek advice from your vet.
